TWO IMAGES IN THE KINGDOM

Two Images

1 Cor. 15:47-50 The first man is from the earth, earthy; the second man is from heaven. As is the earthy, so also are those who are earthy; and as is the heavenly, so also are those who are heavenly. Just as we have borne the image of the earthy, [Two early mss read let us also] we will also bear the image of the heavenly. Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.

When the kingdom starts there are two images upon this earth. Those who enter the kingdom must be born again. They are from earth, and earthy. They shall repopulate the earth and have children which need Christ as their Savoir. And there are also those who come from heaven, who are heavenly, who inherit the kingdom, who bear the image of the heavenly. Flesh and blood can only enter, not inherit the kingdom of God. Those that rule with Him must be first made like Him. The earthly in us must be exchanged for the heavenly in order for us to exercise authority with Him. At the last trumpet we are raised and changed. The soul governed body needs to be exchanged for the spiritual governed body. Inherit means the sons have become heirs and with that the ability and right to rule and now possess an imperishable life.

The sting of death is still there for the earthy but not for the heavenly.
