FREEMASONRY AND CHRISTIANS

Christians sometimes get involved in organizations, clubs, etc. that are not in line with Christ and His Gospel. Freemasonry is one of those organizations. Three very apparent reasons are stated here.

1.   Masonry claims to be a religious institution and also claims that its religion is not Christianity. From Freemasonry Encyclopedia page 618-619 by Mackey.

2.   Freemasonry rates Christianity as a “secular” religion while it boasts of universality. What blasphemy. Christ says that Christianity is a universal religion. He in Daniel 7 was given dominion, glory, and a kingdom, that ALL PEOPLES, NATIONS, AND LANGUAGES should see Him. He takes away the sin of the WORLD. He draws all men to Himself. He is the propitiation of the sins of the WHOLE WORLD. EVERY knee shall bow to Him. EVERY tongue shall confess Him.

3.   Masonry doesn’t confess Jesus Christ as Lord and God. Therefore the God of Masonry is not the true God. Masonry’s God is “G.A.O.T.U. His name is the “Great Architect of the Universe.” The One True God exists in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Not three Gods but One God. Indivisible in substance and Being. The One God became incarnate in flesh in Jesus Christ. John 1:1, 14. Phillip asked to see the Father and Christ says you see Me you see Him. And John say in 1 John 5:20 Jesus is the true God, and eternal life. The one true God cannot be confessed, honored, acknowledged, worshiped, believed on, or prayed to, apart from Jesus Christ! "Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father . . .” (1 John 2:23). This is the Christian doctrine of God. Let me sum it up briefly: There is one true God. This true God is revealed in the Person of Jesus Christ. Apart from Christ there is no true God. If a man confesses Jesus Christ, he is confessing the true God. If he worships Jesus Christ, he is worshiping the true God. If a man refuses to confess Jesus Christ as God, he is denying the true God. If he refuses to worship Jesus Christ, he is refusing to worship the true God.

There are many more reasons why the Christian should flee from such distortions of the true God and His religion. But ignorance reigns concerning God’s book concerning His Son and Masonry steals the words from that book and redefines them. Faith, Hope, and Love are immediately redefined at the outset of initiation to the lodge. Only God can awaken those traveling down wrong roads to heaven and climbing ladders that take them straight to hell.
