Distractions
Matt 8:20
Jesus said to him, "The foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head."
Foxes have holes into which they can run. The birds of the heavens have nests in which they can tarry, and the attractiveness of such things are self-evident. Jesus had no such attractions. He had no such things to detain Himself. He lived in the context of Luke 9:51. When the days were approaching for His ascension, He was determined to go to Jerusalem. Thank God He didn’t get distracted.
