YOM KIPPER

Yom Kipper

Day of Atonement
This was performed solely by the high priest in the holy of holies.
First he would have to stop at the laver, made of brass, composed of the mirrors of the women. Next they would go into the holy place, to the right is seen the table of shewbread, better the table of God's presence with the twelve various loaves, representing the twelve tribes of Israel, and symbolizing Jesus Who says I am the bread of life, I am your sustenance. The bread of John 6 without which we could not live. On the left you would see the golden candlestick, the candelabra, the candlestick of Israel with the seven branches on it, a central one with three on each side, symbolizing Jesus as the light of the world, John 8:12, I am the light of life, so no one needs to walk in darkness. I know where I came from and where I am going He told the Pharisees who were in Satan’s darkness. I have been around forever and I am self-authenticating as light is. You don't need to ask if the light is on. Every human being is equipped to be able to see Divine light and it therefore becomes a personal choice to remain in darkness.
Next you approach the alter of incense, where the high priest would offer a special recipe of incense that would represent the prayers of God's people ascending to heaven into the presence of God, and acceptable to Him if offered in the prescribed way. This alter is smaller than the burnt offering alter, essential and once a year he makes this offering.
Next he walks through the veil into the holy of holies, once a year, one man. He had to have a blood of sacrifice to protect him from immediate judgment and destruction and he saw amazing, amazing things. There he sees the ark of the covenant which was in a beautiful designed box called the ark, inside of which was the law of God cut into stone by the finger of God and with that two other objects, the golden pot.
