SIMPLE QUESTIONS ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT

1. What promise concerning the Holy Spirit did our Lord make just before He ascended into heaven? "I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever; even the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive"—John 14:16-17.

2. How does the Bible speak of the Holy Spirit as a real Person? "Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of Truth, is come, HE WILL GUIDE you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE SHALL HEAR, that SHALL HE SPEAK: and HE WILL SHOW you things to come"—John 16:13.

10. Prove that since Pentecost all true believers are indwelt by the Holy Spirit.
