SIMPLE QUESTIONS ON THE LORD'S SUPPER
 
1. Upon what occasion did our Lord institute the Washing of Feet? "He riseth from SUPPER . . . and began to wash the disciples' feet"—John 13:4-5.

2. When did our Lord institute the Breaking of Bread?
"As THEY WERE EATING, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it"—Matt. 26:26.

3. When did our Lord institute the Drinking of the Cup?
"Likewise also the Cup AFTER SUPPER"—Luke 22:20.

4. What does the Bible call that feast which we keep, and which the early churches kept, in commemoration of our Lord's last supper?
"The Lord's Supper"-1 Cor. 11:20.
"Your love-feasts"—Jude 12 ARV.

5. How do we know that our Lord's last supper was not the Jewish Passover?
"Now BEFORE THE FEAST OF THE PASSOVER . . . and supper being ended . .. He riseth from supper"—John 13:1-4 (See also verse 29).

6. What great Christian truth is taught by our sitting down together to eat the Love-feast?
"A new commandment I give unto you, THAT YE LOVE ONE ANOTHER; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are My disciples, if ye have love one to another"—John 13:34-35.

7. To what great heavenly feast do we look forward as we eat the Love-feast?
