WILL WAR EVER END?

Matt. 24:7 “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.”

Wars today are numerous because of this fact of nation against nation, but notice in Matt. 24:7 there is a 2nd cause for war. These wars are caused by attempting to apply their religion in the conduct of men and nations which are not submitted to their God. Therefore Christ identified them as "Kingdom against Kingdom." For men who are genuinely Christian are profound in their loyalties. But the people who are utterly evil are even more so. You should notice that the end of wars comes about in Matt. 24:14. “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”

War will not end until Christ comes back to this earth and all kingdoms are done away with and the Kingdom of God is establishes by the King of kings, and the Lord of lords.

Peace is the desire of all people who live in war torn areas and men attempt to bring it about in the end. 1 Thes. 5:3  For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. “Safety” means “security.” The day of the Lord will burst suddenly on an unsuspecting world at a time when there is great worldwide concern with peace and security, possibly when such a condition is finally achieved by a great charismatic world leader. This is the development being planned and vigorously promoted today by the many New Age cults and movements seeking a new world order.

No new age cult can bring it about so that it endures. Only Christ can produce peace, for He himself is peace and the King of it.
