Day 3 of Creation
The creation of plants [Gen. 1:9-13]. God spoke and great areas of land appeared from beneath the lower waters. The earth, which had a cool crust, now had mountains, plains, and ocean basins. God then called trees and vegetation into existence [full grown and able to reproduce after their own kind].
