12 ORDINARY MEN

Twelve Ordinary Men

The men Christ chose to use in the transition from the Covenantal purposes of the Old Testament to that of the New Testament era were ordinary men as we see them, but known by their Creator (cf. John 1:47 Nathaniel was known before he arrived), and chosen by Him to experience these life changing alterations through the death of the O.T. promised Messiah.
These men went from that period where men were saved by grace under the law to that time when the Savior having appeared and provided the NT requirement for all men to be saved by grace also.
They were to show personal failure in both eras but how human failure is dealt with in both grace arenas. Both OT & NT men were saved by grace.
