SIMPLE QUESTIONS ABOUT THE GOSPEL

 

1. What is the first and most important part of the Great Commission?
"Go ye therefore, and MAKE DISCIPLES of all the nations"—Matt. 28:19 ARV.

2. What must we do to "make disciples"?
"GO ye into all the world, a n d PREACH THE GOSPEL to every creature"—Mark 16:15.

3. What is this Gospel?
"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you . . . For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that HE ROSE AGAIN the third day according to the Scriptures"-1 Cor. 15:1-4.

4. What does the Apostle Paul say about those who preach some other gospel?
"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other Gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, LET HIM BE ACCURSED"—Gal. 1:8.

5. What does the Gospel of Christ do for all who believe it?
"I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ; for it is THE POWER OF GOD UNTO SALVATION to everyone that believeth . . . For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, The just shall live by faith"—Rom. 1:16-17.

6. What will be the end of all who reject the Gospel of Christ?
"In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ; who shall be PUNISHED WITH EVERLASTING DESTRUCTION from the presence of the Lord"-2 Thess. 1:8-9.

7. How should we feel our personal responsibility for taking the Gospel to all men?
"For necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the Gospel"-1 Cor. 9:16.
"So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the Gospel to you"—Rom. 1:15.
