IRAQ AND THE ENDTIMES. WOW!!!

IRAQ

Iraq is the modern name of the area that was formerly controlled by the Assyrians and Babylonians in the days of the Old Testament. Abraham was born in Iraq. The garden of Eden was, before the global flood in Noah's day, located where the Persian Gulf is today, just off the coast of Iraq and Kuwait. Daniel and his three Hebrew friends lived in Iraq during the Babylonian captivity. One of the most important prophetic books in the Bible was written by Daniel while he was in Iraq. Other than Jerusalem, the Bible has more to say, historically and prophetically, about the city of Babylon and the Babylonian region than any other city or area in the Bible! So, according to the Bible, the future of the country that we call Iraq is very significant for the end times!

According to the Bible, when the end comes, Iraq will be a habitation of demons. (Revelation 18:2) In several texts in Revelation, demons are connected to events that are associated with the Euphrates River. Please note that the Euphrates River flows through Iraq into the Persian Gulf. So, in light of the overall context of the prophetic scriptures, whenever you read about the Euphrates Riverr in the book of Revelation, it is talking about events that will take place along the Euphrates River in Iraq. In Revelation 9:13-19 four evil angels, demons, (compare Psalm 78:49) will come up out of the Euphrates River in Iraq and incite and command 200 million demons to kill one-third of the world's population. According to Isaiah 14:4 the Antichrist will be called "the king of Babylon." This would indicate that he will rule from the resurrected city of Babylon in Iraq. In light of this, it is most revealing to note that the call for the Armageddon campaign for the kings of the earth and their armies to assemble to dislodge the Jewish people from the Holy Land will come from Iraq! (Revelation 16:12-16)

It is extremely enlightening to note that according to Islamic doctrine, they expect their messiah to defeat the infidels that have invaded Iraq in the last days; (we voluntarily left thanks to our president) and that after that, he will rule the world from Iraq. It is apparent that Satan, knowing God's prophetic plan, is preparing his false messiah to rule from Iraq so as to deceive all Muslims until the very end.
