Marriage in Heaven
- In heaven-many wonder what relationship their spouse will have to them in heaven
- Christ tells us in Matthew 22:30 that in the resurrection [new bodies described by Paul in 1 Cor. 15:35-50 they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.
- The resurrection [heavenly, imperishable, spiritual] body is not raised or restored to the same appetites as the former body [earthly, perishable, carnal, and natural] with its passions.
- The earthly marriage relationship only serves its purpose while on earth. The heavenly marriage is with Christ.
