Second Blessings
There are none. For we have it all now as the result of His passion-baptism. "For all things belong to you." "That He might fill all things."
1 Cor 3:21-22 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;
It is not unusual for Scripture, on behalf of believers, to assert ownership regarding certain blessings even before they are possessed in Christian experience. As these in 1 Corinthians 3:21-22 where "all things" are said to belong to the believer, yet among these things are some that are yet "to come." The ownership is legally certain, though the experience of possession may be future.
Eph. 1:3 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ."
