WHEN DID JEHOVAH DIE?

When did (GOD) Jehovah die?

There are several O.T. quotes in the book of Revelation which the Apostle John uses to help reveal the Lord Jehovah as well as the things of the end. John received this revelation from God in his book which quotes from several of the OT prophetic books and gives meaning to their unfulfilled prophesies.
These quotes and statements start out in the very first chapter and finish in the very last. Rev. 1:8 says about Him "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord [kurios] God [theos], "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty [pantokrator]."  and in vs. 17 "When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man . And He placed His right hand on me, saying, "Do not be afraid;  I am the first and the last,"  as well as chapter 2 verse 8 where it also says, "And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: The first and the last,  and at the end of the letter in 21:6 Then He said to me, "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost.
And finally in the last of the letter 22:13  he quotes "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."
An interesting question arises in this final book of the revelation of Jehovah and of His coming kingdom on earth in two of these unveiling statements. In 1:18 of the Alpha and the Omega it states "and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore , and I have the keys of death and of Hades. as then in 2:8 of the first and the last: "who was dead, and has come to life.
The question which arises in these two unveiling passages from the great Apostle John is this: "When did Jehovah (God) die?"
The answer to that question unveils the Person of the Lord Jehovah. It is none other than Jesus of Nazareth Who came to this earth to live a perfect life and die for every man’s sin as a perfect sacrifice, that fact has the attesting testimony of the Father Who is well-pleased with His Son. All this was accomplished for every man whether they accept His substitution or not. 1 John 2:2 says this: "and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world."
Only a wise man accepts this gift of grace. How wise are you? Have you discovered your need for the Savior of your soul? Are you a witness for Jehovah?
