PERENNIAL ACCLAMATION MARK PILGRIMAGES

PERENNIAL ACCLAMATION OF THE NATIONS WILL MARK THE PILGRIMAGES TO NEW JERUSALEM
"And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honor into it. And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. And they shall bring the glory and honor of the nations into it."  Rev. 21:24-26

When the nations of Gen. 10:32 are seen at last in the Biblical Revelation, they are walking in the light of the City of God  and then the commonwealth of man will be realized in the Kingdom of God, and all conflict will have ended forever. The last glory of the race will not be monotony, but harmony, the cultivation by every nation of its own peculiar powers and resources, in the interest of all the other nations. That is the far-off Divine event, to which the whole creation moves, and that the glory of the vision which inspires to all sacrifice and service until it be realized.

Christ is the central object of wonder in the city and all redeemed humanity will come to the city in unceasing pilgrimages to worship Him and present tokens of their devotion to him. Since the bride, the church is there with Christ she will help to display His glory (Eph. 2:7). The millions coming day and night to the city make it necessary for the gates to be open all the time. And there is no night there (Rev. 24:25). The Kings organize and direct their people in this endless train of devotion. And the nations join willingly in this enterprise.
"That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus."
"And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there."
All the above things make it clear that eternity will be filled with the most useful activity carried on with unflagging zeal; undiminished energy, and unceasing activity.

The saints need not despair that the future will be filled with empty gyrations and useless and purposeless motion. It will be the most creative period in the history of mankind with all energies directed to Him who deserves to be exalted and glorified for His grace and wonder of holiness.
