BIBLICAL INERRANCY - THE DOCTRINE OF SCRIPTURE

THE DOCTRINE OF SCRIPTURE

After seeing how people justify their conduct with God I'm starting a set of articles on Truth and Grace concerning the Inerrancy of Scripture. This will take a few weeks. Christ has been called a Liar by so many today not even knowing they are doing that. He was very clear concerning what He said and what had been written in both the OT and NT. Of course there were the majority which called Him too extreme to have Him take over the government and their religion. I would hate to see how they would treat Him today with His clear views on all the church doctrines and teachings. He would be labeled a radical without a doubt. "But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us." Luke 19:14. 1 Sam. 8:6-7 "Give us a king to judge us." "but they have rejected Me from being king over them. "
It is not new to deny Him as Lord while called Him Lord, Lord. That happened in both the NT as well as the Old pointed out above. "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
Matt. 7:22-23
I hope by these articles that some may come to realize that Matthew was talking about them before it is too late and they are forced to depart from Him who they called Savior. My previous articles on Revelation pointed out that Great Tribulation for 3 1/2 years out of 7 soon await this earth.

INTRODUCTION
1. Purpose of this study: What the Bible teaches about itself. Not external proofs, for this belongs to the field of Christian Evidences.
2. The Biblical Claim: is this - that the Bible is the direct product of God, not merely the making of the records, but from the time it left the mind of God until it enters the heart of the Believer.
3. The Five Main Stages in the Divine Work: These are listed below:
(1) Preparation of the writers.
(2) Revelation of the material.
(3) Inspiration of the writings.
(4) Preservation of the record.
(5) Interpretation of the meaning.
