Lesson 1. Men in the church take the worlds ideas and take it to the Bible to (re)interpret it.

Bible is real history for the real world. Science doesn’t believe that as a (the) source.

Bible should interpret what we look at.

Educational does this today instead of the Bible.

The ACLU put Christianity on trial.

Clarence Darrow wanted to show the world that Christians could not defend their faith.

William Jennings Brian was so evolutionized he let Christianity down by allowing himself to be put on the witness stand. He wasn’t much of a Bible Theologian, just a lawyer who thought he was.

Clarence Darrow pleaded guilty and didn't have to take the stand.

Darrow made Genesis as the questioning emphasis.

-Where did Cain get his wife? With only one man and woman on this earth there is only one place for him to get his wife. Bryan couldn't answer that. That was the jugular.

-How old is the earth? Bryan couldn’t answer that. Since the Bible is a history book that answer can be discovered. Genesis has ordinary days. Bryan didn't believe in a literal day (24 hrs).

1925 Scopes trial. Over 75 years later people still answer those questions the same way.

Lesson 2 no conflict between the Bible and science. People misrepresent the church in that they trust scientists before they do the Bible.

Lesson 3. Darrow got leading scientists to put their evidence into the records into the trial manuscripts. Nothing today that they believed then is still believed. They presented evidence for a half-man half-ape. They later found it to be a fake. French scientists thought that prehistoric men carried themselves like an ape and found the person's remains they found had rickets. Hunched over.

-Origin at Smithsonian in 1996 had to be changed because the supposed evidence was different.

-180 leftover useless organs and members and they used to remove.

-They now believe different. Lost function (wisdom teeth). Arrogance of science. Don't know what the function is and they call themselves  experts. Gill slits in embryo's as they used to believe. Similarity effects that were frauds. Embryo's go through evolutionary stages-they think.

Grand canyon. No longer believe that the Colorado river did that feat. They now believe it was lots of floods.

-Had they believed the Bible instead of man's theories they would have known it was a yearlong flood.

-You either believe it is written or it is rewritten and rewritten and rewritten.

-They won't take a literal reading of Genesis 1-11. Don't want to seem anti-science.

-Modern science has not proved the age of the earth.

-A lot of 67th books of the Bible (which are cursed). (There are only 66.)

-Can't have death before sin. Which Christians say happened between Gen. 1:1 and 2

-They dogmatically assert you can't be dogmatic. They tolerate all views but the Biblical view.

-No simpler voice can ever be heard than that of the Bible.

-Man does not determine truth. Evolution truly believes that man can determine truth.

-Satan says "it is written" Jesus says then "As it is written" to put it back in context.

Knock out the foundation and it all is lost. Psalms 11:3 “If the foundations are destroyed , What can the righteous do?"
