Day 1 of Creation
The creation of light [Gen. 1:2-5]. God created the earth on the first day [1:1]. The earth had no distinct features such as mountains or continents. It was unfinished and uninhabited and empty [formless and void]. Angels were probably created on this day [Psa. 148:2-5; Job 38:7].
