ARE WE THERE YET? THE END!

ARE WE CLOSE TO THE END

One of the signs that Christ said would be true of the end times would be a marked rise in false prophets. Matt. 24:4-5 "And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many." 11 "And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many."
He gave us their credentials. He said to be careful when the world loves a prophet's words, because a prophet who is false is apt to be popular (Luke 6:26). Matt. 24:24  "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."
The apostles instructed believers to be diligent in faith and understanding of Christian teachings, in order to discern false prophets when they arise (2 Pet. 1:10; 1:19-2:1; 1 John 4:1). There are so many that have little theological depth and make them susceptable to these wordsmiths.
The tests of a prophet are:
1) Do their predictions come true (Jer. 28:9)?
2) Does the prophet have a divine commission (Jer. 29:9)?
3) Are the prophecies consistent with Scripture (2 Pet. 1:20-21; Rev. 22:18-19)?
4) Do the people benefit spiritually from the prophet's ministry (Jer. 23:13, 14, 32; 1 Pet. 4:11)?
See if you think you have seen or heard any of these false claims?
For here is what they will say to the Judge at the great white throne judgment.  Matt. 7:22-23 "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?"
"And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
Here is the reason He says He NEVER knew them.
There were only 2 parties that were given this 3-fold command. In Isaiah 35:5 and 61:1 scripture reveals that One was the Son of Man acting as the Messiah and the other were the twelve apostles in Matt 10:8. This was to be a sign of the authenticy of the accompanying message. They were announcing the immanency of the Kingdom, not the Church. Those that were able to perform these three works were giving a taste of the powers of the Kingdom age to come (Heb. 6:5). Israel refused their message and the Kingdom was not instituted at that time. The Name this was done under was the Christ, the Son of Man.
prophesied...cast out devils...done many wonderful works  Many as prophesied by Jesus in this verse are in the age of the Church making this false claim of apostleship claiming to do these works that Christ only assigned to the twelve and in judgment are named as unknown ones who practiced lawlessness instead of the will of the Father. One needs to be sure of what the Father expects of them and to do that for judgment sake. cf. Matt 24:23-24 See Matt 28:19-20 for what He expects of us. Be baptized into that name and then do accordingly.
Luke 6:46 “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” Whole families have been torn over this false claim for miracle and sign power that Christ and the apostles displayed. Many have been driven away from the Church and have made Christ of no consideration for the calamity in their lives to bring them to Him. And those that persist in this false arena end at last at the great white throne judgment where they voice their emotional plea thinking they have a life of greatness when He says you were lawless; not paying any attention to His words, trusting only the words of a false prophet they honored and attempted to reproduce instead of Christ.
