CONVICTION
John 16:8 ”And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.”
CONVICTION
Ministry of the Spirit. . . . . concerning sin, righteousness, and judgment. He comes to this earth which already is convicted of these three things but now with a new message concerning these three. All 3 have a new center which is Christocentric, just as with the ministry to the Church.
Should produce activity, which is the basis of faith. If there be no conviction, faith is impossible.
This is essentially a mental concept, a change of mind about the whole relationship of the man to the way he has been living his life, with self at the center and God shut out.
