Conversion is a
turning around; not in physical direction, but a moral and spiritual change; a
change in the way of thinking, the outlook on life, and towards God. When a
person acts on new thoughts
from God salvation has transpired. Cf. repentance. Christs’ first words to the
religious of his day was concerning their need to turn around and go the
opposite direction with their thinking concerning God. The world today is in
the same position as in His day upon earth even though they are attending their
churches. The religion taught in the pulpits today tickle their ears and that
is as close as they get to the Father Who will only accept worship in spirit
and truth which is perfect.
