They have successfully brought meaning to:
Isa. 5:20 "Woe to those who call
evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for
darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!"
Hab. 1:4 “Therefore
the law is ignored And justice is never upheld. For the wicked surround the
righteous:" Therefore justice comes out
perverted.
These rulings
reveal moral sickness. They do not use God's standards but their own character
as their basis. Cf. Isa. 40:4 “Let every
valley be lifted up, And every mountain and hill be made low; And let the rough
ground become a plain, And the rugged terrain a broad valley;"
This is God's way
of saying there shall be major readjustments made in the topography [moral
standards] of His kingdom rule, vastly different from the rule of man.
