lc. "louw” and "baptidzo"   refer to the same thing, only describing different aspects.
Louo (louw) describes the effect, namely, that of
complete cleansing.

Baptidzo Baptidzw) describes the method, namely, that of complete dipping.
Cf. 2 Kings 5:10, 12, 13, 14. Both words appear here.
Acts 22:16. Both words appear here.

2c. Thus Jewish baptism refers to the following things.
In a ceremonial sense, louo is never used of anything save persons 'either in O.T. or the N.T.
Baptidzo is never used of anyone save a person in
O.T. (2 Kings 5:14). Baptidzo is used of things in the N.T. (Mark 7:4, 8; Hebrews 9:10). But the word merely describes the mode or action and has nothing to do with the effect.
