MERGANCE IN RELATION TO THE CHRIST

Mergence in Relation to the Christ
Vss.  13b-16 "Clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle."
14 "His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;"15 "And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters."16 "And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength."
All the Elements of Humanity Run Through the Description
     Human is the figure ("Son of Man . . . down to the foot.")
     Human were the breasts ("paps").
     Human was the head and hair.
     Human were the eyes.
     Human were the feet.
     Human was the voice.
     Human was the right hand.

     Superhuman was the procession of the sword.

                            Every Line of the Description is Symbolic and Suggestive
            A human figure is draped with the flowing robes of divine majesty.
            Human breasts are girdled with the gold of perfect righteousness.
            The head and hair of humanity are resplendent with the youthful age of eternal snows.
            Eyes of human appeal are illuminated with the flame of divine penetration.
            Feet of man's journeying are strong and pure with the force and fire of God.
            A voice uttering human syllables is resonant with the anthem of the infinite sea.
            A right hand of human contact poises seven stars in divine strength.
            A mouth of human utterance issues truth divinely searching.
            A face of human attractiveness is shining in the glory of the essential light of God.
