THE GUARANTEE OF OUR JUSTIFICATION

THE GUARANTEE OF OUR JUSTIFICATION
Question - will it hold good?

Guaranteed by the Resurrection of Christ
Rom. 4:24-25 "But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on Him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;” “Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. The "for" in both instances in this verse may be helpfully translated "on account of." It was because of our offenses that Christ died (2 Cor 5:21; 1 Pet 2:24). He was raised again and exalted at God's right hand because of the fact that we were "justified by his blood" (Rom 5:9). His resurrection is the proof that our sins are gone.

Resurrection is the Proof That the Penalty for Sin was Paid in Full

Rom. 8:33-34 “Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect?   As Mary was charged with adultery so we are being charged also. But the true husband of the woman speaks up in the next verse. These questions are taken right out of the words of Isaiah 50. Isaiah 50 records the words of Jesus after His calling in the previous chapter. The predetermined circumstances and experiences for His called out Servant were not inviting. The previous chapter represents Him as conscious of the fact that His service means suffering. This chapter marks out that suffering more definitely in verses 5-11. The statement in verse 5 that "the Lord God has opened My ear," is very significant in that it means the communication of the Master to His Servant. Jehovah has made known His secrets and revealed them to Him, not only of the experience awaiting Him but also the meaning and purpose of them. Between the Servant and His Master there was no conflict, but perfect agreement. Thus His response to His calling for suffering was vibrant with confidence in the help of Jehovah.
It is God that justifieth.” “Who is He that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, Who is even at the right hand of God, Who also maketh intercession for us.”  Shall Christ be the One to lay charge. Shall He Who alone has the right, no, for the Judge is also busy acting as our defense attorney.
Therefore a most solid guarantee!!!
