STANDARDS FOR IDENTIFYING AN ORDINANCE

There is therefore a need for some Safe and Sane Standard to Identify an Ordinance

 

 

1b. This standard must be clearly revealed in the Word of God. Otherwise there would be no absolute certainty of its genuineness.

2b. This standard must satisfy the hearts and minds of Spirit-led men.

Spirit-led men are those who have a character implanted by the Spirit of God, that is, they are born again.

They hold the creed of the Scriptures and endeavor always to find out the teaching of the Scriptures.

They display conduct that is in accordance with the Scriptures insofar as they are able to follow.
