ANOTHER,ANOTHER, ANOTHER

ANOTHER, ANOTHER, ANOTHER

Satan has to change a lot of issues to overcome Christ. Beware of change!

2 Cor. 11:4 “For if he that cometh preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.”

another Jesus The fact that a preacher or teacher talks about “Jesus” means little, for false prophets and false teachers have always invoked His name whenever it suited their purposes, and they still do. There are the “buddy” Jesus of country music, the "socialist" Jesus of liberal theology, the "esoteric" Jesus of the New Age and the "ritualistic" Jesus of sacramentalism, but none of these Jesus-figures are the Savior. The true Jesus is the Creator of the universe, the Word made flesh, the one Sacrifice for sins forever, the resurrected Lord and our coming King!
another spirit There are religious movements today to present a ministry of the Spirit that fails entirely to be that of what the Holy Spirit came to perform for the Son as well as the Father. Instead of preaching Christ He is made to be preaching Himself and for their benefit. There are many evil spirits at large in the world who would seek to counterfeit the Holy Spirit in the believer’s experience if they could. We must “try the spirits.” “Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God” (1 John 4:2).
another gospel Paul warned against believing any man or even any angel who came preaching some other gospel than the true saving gospel of Christ which he had preached (Galatians 1:6-9). If they preach another gospel, let them be accursed as Jesus. That is put to death on a cross, buried, and if raised after three days, that is the seal of the approval of the Father as it was for the Gospel Jesus preached. That gospel needs to include with it death, burial, and resurrection. That gospel must include the fullness of the Person and work of Christ, from eternity to eternity.

BLIND AND LOST

BLIND AND LOST

2 Cor. 4:3 “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost.”

If you think there isn’t a Devil, try witnessing to someone concerning Christ and you’ll find out for sure.

"To whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?" From Isa 53:1, which is quoted 6 times in the NT. This is a mystery, the mystery of iniquity, and God tells us why. It's not because the message isn't clear, it's not because the claims of Jesus are debatable and doubtful. Paul explains it, if our Gospel be hid, it’s not because they're ignorant, it’s because they are lost. Because they have been blinded.

2Cor. 4:4 “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”

The significance of the God of the Bible in relation to mankind is a necessary sequel. Ideas have consequences, as the history of mankind thoroughly demonstrates. This is especially true in the area of religion. No person has ever risen above his religion, and no religion has ever exceeded in proportion its conception of God. "Worship is pure or base as the worshiper entertains high or low thoughts of God." Men tend by a secret law of the soul to move toward the mental image of the object they worship. What men approve in perception they approach in performance. This means that the most revealing thing about the people of God in any period is the conception they hold of the God whom they worship.
With amazing intricacy Satan attacked the human race at this point. He distorted the conception of Eve concerning the goodness of God. By means of an insinuating question he suggested that God might be withholding some good thing from her by imposing the prohibition concerning the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Gen. 3:1). Her evaluation of the benefits to be derived from partaking of the fruit deceived her into believing that God was deliberately depriving them (Gen. 3:6). She took of the fruit and ate, and Adam joined with her in an act that plunged the whole human race into darkness and even lower conceptions of God.
The testimony of history, through millenniums of time, is that men have fashioned the object of worship over the pattern of their own thoughts. "Thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself” (Psa. 50:21). This is the indictment of God hurled into the teeth of the wicked. God is something like man who was created in His image, but not altogether like him. And where sin prevails, it is certain that the image of God carried in the mind of the worshipper is measured over the pattern of sin. This explains how men "became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things" (Rom. 1:21-23).
This fact further explains the awful descent into sin of every conceivable variety: apostasy, thievery, adultery, dishonesty, and slander (Psa. 50:16-20). This low conception of God explains how men could descend to levels of sin so base and revolting that God was compelled to give them up (Rom. 1:24-32). Nor is the low conception of God to be restricted to the pagan world that engaged in idolatry. It is likewise manifest among those peoples where the images are mere mental conceptions of God issuing in the same plague of wickedness to be found in the pagan world. Homosexuality and lesbianism is the lowest conception of God a person can come down to.
To a world of sinners like this, the message of the Bible comes, speaking to the condition of all men. The message of the Bible concerning that exalted and majestic God who is therein described is both timeless and timely. Satan would, if possible, blind the minds of men lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ should shine unto them (2 Cor. 4:4). And only as God hath shined in their hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God, can men be rescued from this night of sin (2 Cor. 4:6).

RESURRECTION-ENJOY IT

RESURRECTION-ENJOY IT

Col. 3:1-4 “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.  When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.”

The overcoming life because we have been raised with Christ.
These passages contains the key to glorious Christian living. How desperately we need this key in the day of compromise and spiritual darkness. God told us this world would get worse and worse.
1). The foundation is stated in verse 1. Since we have been raised with Christ, has three meanings. Although Lazarus had to be let out of his grave, Jesus did not for He walked right through the wall. He possessed the glorified body that Paul spoke of in 1 Corinthians 15. His resurrected body had amazing function and was the proof of Who He claimed to be. (Romans 1:4) Jesus told them time and time again that if they wanted proof of Who He really was the resurrection would give that to them. He told the Jews that if they destroyed this temple in three days He would raise it again. Just as Jonah came out after three days, Jesus did likewise and has an amazing ministry at the present. Paul in Acts 17:31 concerning the resurrection of Jesus said this: “Because he hath appointed a day, in which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.” How would the Greeks have known about the resurrection of Christ for they were hundreds of miles away? They being made in the image and likeness of Christ, as Paul was, had the Holy Spirit testifying within them concerning what Paul was saying. They therefore had the ability to believe what he was saying. Just like the unsaved that we speak to. Faith is the substance of things not seen but spoken to our hearts. The resurrection proves Who He claims to be.
2). The resurrection is the guarantee that you and I will have glorified bodies. We also have the assurance that we will rise and with a glorified body. (Romans 6:5; 8:11; 1 Cor. 15:20, 23 gives a whole host who will have these bodies). We have that assurance because of His resurrection.
3). Next our mindset has to change because of that resurrection. Christ made a display of His mindset after his resurrection. We are to keep our minds on the things above where Christ is seated. We are united with Him in His resurrection glory. We have been raised up with Him. We are to go much farther than the Apollo project and the moon; beyond the galaxies to where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Not on the things of earth. (See article THE WORLD). Keep seeking, set your mind. We are preoccupied obsessed, distracted with the things of earth. We need help to live above this. The only way is because we been raised with Christ, which is the dynamic and power system by which we can live victorious Christian lives. We need to stop and set our minds on things above. Why are you here and what are you doing? You need to stop and ask some very basic questions. He has been glorified and has been raised and is watching us. He is protecting us and is guiding us, and He's the one behind this article. If He was to rapture us today and set us down, I'm sure he would ask us do you hear what I have to say. That is the Bema Seat that he spoke of. Crowns are gained and lost at this point. His victory gained victory for us every hour of every day whether we believe that or not; all because He rose from the dead.
Three reasons why to set your minds on Christ.
1). Reason number one. Col. 2:3 “In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” He knows it all and wants to share it with you as you can accept it. Beginning with Moses He shared with those men on the Emmaus Road, and some of that was concerning creation because He was there. He not only knew how the world began, but he knows how it will end. He is not only Alpha but He is the Omega of the universe. If you want to know anything about anything, He will have you sit down and He will say to you “let’s talk.” He knows where we're going. The last book is the revelation of Jesus Christ, not of St. John, but Him. He spoke it to John of the things that must shortly take place. He knows it all.
2). Reason number two. Col. 2:9-10 “For in him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.” His human body did not compromise His divine nature. He added that human nature to His divine nature in the incarnation. While He was on this earth He set aside some of the attributes of His divine nature. He did that voluntarily. What an amazing ability. He humbled Himself even to the death on the cross. But He didn't set aside His deity that whole time. That is a great, great biblical truth. We are complete in Him. That is true judicially, we have been reckoned righteous, counted that way, but we need to know that it is true, experimentally. We need desperate help day by day to walk with Him, to trust in Him, to listen to Him, to honor Him, to talk to Him. We need power, we are so weak, so frail, so fragile. We were given a great commission at the end of Matthew and the promise that He is with us to the end. Phil. 4:13 says “I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me.” I can make disciples of all nations, because He is alive. He is resurrected, He resides in heaven. This blog has reached many nations on this earth, because He is risen. Israel and the last days shall finish this task with12,000 missionaries from every tribe, 144,000 of them. They shall be sealed and protected by God to get the job done. Yet the antichrist will try to prevent that. But the gospel shall be preached to all nations at last. And then shall the end come. Peter discovered that if Christ tells you to do something, you can do it, even walk on water. You just have to make sure He told you to do that. We need power, and secondly we need purity. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9. That goes on day after day. We also need love. If we have love for one another, all men will know we belong to Him. Agape love is undeniable. Both Commandments to fulfill the Old Testament law both had love mentioned. We need to bring every thought and intent of the heart captive to Christ.
3) Reason number three. Col. 2:18-19 “Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increases with the increase of God.” The body cannot detach itself from the head and be independent. It cannot do its own thing. The hands and the feet and all other attached parts suffer. It begins to decay and rot and becomes despicable, awful. It becomes useless. The body needs to keep attached to the Head Who is the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. If you abide in him, you will bear much fruit. Hebrews 5:10-12 spoke of some men that had neglected to stay close to the head ”Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.  Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.  For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.”
Col. 3:3 says: “For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.”  This verse says you have died and because of that fact you can do these things. But this is a special kind of death that is identified with His death. When we believed in Jesus we died to the old system of sin, Satan and the world, all those attractions that clouded over and obscured the sight of God in our lives. The minute we were born again, we died. We are dead to the old system, the old nature, the old world, gone, finished, dead. God broke the power structure that prevents us from having victory in Christ. Col. 2:12-13, 20 states this fact. “Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances.” These verses state that if with Him you are now able to serve him.
And finally Col. 3:5 “Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry." Your body is dead to these things. Think that way, which is what He is saying here. You have victory, because you have died and died with the right Person, Christ. Think like He does. Talk to Him, asking questions, read His book. Your life is hidden with Christ in God.

WHY DID GERMANY-JAPAN LOSE THE WARS?

WHY DID GERMANY-JAPAN LOSE THE WARS?

Jer. 46:15 “Why are thy valiant men swept away? they stood not, because the LORD did drive them.”

By all human observation and calculations Germany and Japan should have won those wars. The same question is asked of those wars as the one that is in our passage.
As we look at this prophetic utterance concerning the surrounding nations. This one and others were delivered at different times during Jeremiah's ministry. Some of them are dated, some are not. It is noticeable that in this arrangement, that concerning Egypt is placed first, and that concerning Babylon last. The vision of the prophet was that of the victory of the army of Nebuchadnezzar over Pharaoh-necho at Carchemish
Graphically he told the story of the preparation, and advance, and flight of the proud hosts of Pharaoh. Contemplating that flight of retreat, the prophet uttered this question and answer. Why were the mighty hosts of Pharaoh so overcome? That was the question. The politicians in Judah had calculated for many years on the strength of Egypt and believed that it would prove superior to that of Babylon. On the basis of human observation and calculation, they were probably right. Egypt ought to have been victorious by the standards of human preparation and power. But Egypt was defeated. Why? "They stood not because Jehovah did drive them!" If we are tempted, as we sometimes are almost unconsciously, to read these records as opinions of men in the twilight, and to imagine that they were mistaken, or that God is not acting today, it is important that we think seriously of the German invasion as well as the Japanese. There we have seen the same thing, and even with more startling clarity. By every law of human calculation, Germany as well as Japan ought to have mastered those opposed to her. They did not. They was broken and surrendered. Why? There is but one answer, and it is that of Jeremiah. "They stood not because Jehovah did drive them." And so it is, and will be, until the King of the final Kingdom comes. Over all the policies of men and the clash of armies He is reigning and moving forward in righteousness towards the goal of His intended purpose. No matter how great the forces, with only one word He sets them on their backs and in the end destroys them utterly. America, Europe, Asia as well as others need to make sure they have Jehovah driving them. Numbers mean nothing to the Almighty in war. The outcome is already recorded of the final apocalypse but that doesn't stop fools. Jesus already proved that fact for there He had to volunteer His surrender so they could kill Him. Take that fact of history and use it for your faith. Jerusalem will be His capitol city. That is a fact.

WISDOM

WISDOM
Prov. 1:7 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
Prov. 9:10 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.”

In these words we have a declaration of the fundamental principle of Hebrew wisdom that is philosophy. This book is one of the three Wisdom books in the Old Testament; the others are Job and Ecclesiastes. The first six verses of this chapter reveal the purpose of the book. It was written to teach wisdom and that rather in its application to life, than in theory. It consists of (1). A series of addresses on wisdom delivered by a father to his son; (2). Two collections of Proverbs; and (3). Two discourses in the realm of Wisdom, one by Agur, the other by Lemuel. Throughout, the purpose is practical, rather than theoretical. Here, after the introduction or preface, and before the series of addresses, the theory is stated in one inclusive definition. It is of importance to any study of this book that this fundamental and inclusive definition should be rightly apprehended; and in order to that, we halt with the word rendered beginning. In the King James Version we find a marginal alternative suggested, viz., "the principal part," and the English and American revisers marginally suggest "the chief part." Why this reading was relegated to the margin remains a mystery, for there is no doubt that this is the real meaning of the Hebrew word. The other truth emerges later (Prov. 9:10). The fundamental fact, then, is that in all knowledge, all understanding of life, all interpretation thereof, the fear of Jehovah is the principal thing, the chief part, the central light, apart from which the mind of man gropes in darkness and misses the way. Whether in prosperity or adversity, in light or in darkness, in life or in death, in order to intelligent apprehension, and true conduct, there must be the fear of Jehovah. That is the sum total of wisdom.

ARE YOU HAPPY AMERICA, EUROPE, ASIA?

HAPPY, BLESSED, BORN-AGAIN

Psa. 144:15 “Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.”

Happy is a word in the Bible that can be easily translated by a couple of other Bible words, blessed, or better born-again. Matthew 5 presents that word several times.
This is the song of a king. The title attributes it to David. Almost all expositors agree in treating it as a composite song, containing some quotations from other Psalms, and introducing new elements. This the singer himself seems to have indicated when, after quotations, he broke out in the words: "I will sing a new song." Be all that as it may, it is still the song of a king who understood the true secret of national prosperity, and this found expression in this closing proclamation. In the presence of the stern and awful necessity for war, it is Jehovah Who teaches the hands and the fingers. It is He Who giveth victory to kings. As the result of victory which comes from Him, kings and people are rescued from evil politicians, men whose mouths speak vanity; and from evildoers, men whose right hand is guided by falsehood. Such deliverance issues in a prosperity which is graphically and poetically described in these closing stanzas. Verily then, "happy is the people whose God is Jehovah." All Christian souls believe this to be true. How solemn, then, the obligation which rests upon them to use all their influence in the life of the nation to which they belong, to bring it under the rule of this God! The patriotism of the Christian is such love of country that it seeks at all times and under all circumstances to bring the policies and activities of that country into agreement with the will and way of God.

YOUNG ADULT WISDOM

YOUNG ADULT WISDOM

Psalms 139:23-24 after considering vs. 1-6, 15-16

Wisdom of the young man who realizes God's knowledge along with his own immaturity and ignorance will submit himself to God early in his life.

Search me, O God, and know my heart: Try me, and know my thoughts; And see if there be any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.

May God find them before they are lost forever!
