FATHER SHARES WITH ALL HIS SONS

SHARED FROM THE FATHER - ALL THINGS

“Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?” John 18:4

Conversations of the Servant with His Master in all night prayer; the Servant receiving His orders. Conversations to the Son of Man and we are allowed as His servants to understand the movements of the trinity to save those that might believe. Now mark the majesty of these next four verses. "Jesus therefore, knowing all the things that were coming upon Him, went forth." That statement is full of significance, bearing out and emphasizing the fact that the pathway of Jesus to His Cross was not the pathway of a Victim. All the way He knew all that was coming to Him. Perfectly familiar with it all, He "went forth," went forth in majesty, never more majestic than when His eyes were set upon His Cross. He not only went forth but He shared all things with us His followers.

This statement that "He went forth" means that He left the garden. He went forth from it. He went outside. There and then happened a remarkable thing, which was the ultimate evidence of His majesty. He faced them. He said, "Whom seek ye?" They said, "Jesus the Nazarene." He then said, "I am." Our versions render it "I am He." Quite literally He simply said, "I am." When He did so, a cohort of Roman soldiers, the Temple police, the rulers themselves, Judas guiding them, went backwards and fell to the ground. Some burst of majesty halted them. There may have been the emerging of something we cannot interpret, a flaming of glory. I think rather that something in the mien of Jesus as He stood confronting His enemies caused their shrinking and fall. They could not lay a hand on Him. Right to the very margin He revealed the fact referred to again and again, as we have seen in the process of the Gospel that no man could lay hands upon Him until His hour was come. His hour had now come, but even now, the entire cohort and the police of the Temple and the elders were powerless of themselves to lay any hand on Him. "I am," He said, and they went backwards, and fell. Thus the majesty of Jesus was revealed.
Only by grace would God come to the garden at Creation each day to share with Adam that he might share with Eve. Daily conversations that we  can share with He Who came to die for us that we might know "all things". Truth Himself speaking with His creatures that He has openly shared His love for us by His death on the cross that opens the door for our understanding. Daily we might grow in our understanding of Truth and His Father through the Spirit He and the Father sent us. Only a fool would neglect that privilege. God has no fools on His side.

FRUIT BEARING FRIENDS OF CHRIST

FRUIT BEARING FRIENDS OF CHRIST

“Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.”
John 15:15

THE FRUIT-BEARING FRIENDS OF JESUS were here elevated very tenderly and beautifully as He told them of the new name He was now giving to them. "No longer do I call you bond-slaves, but friends; for the bond-slave knoweth not what his lord doeth; but I have called you friends." I am interpreting to you the things from My Father; and because you are coming into an understanding, you will be My friends. I call you friends. The servant is elevated by the Master through communion of revelation (all things). See John 17:21.
This verse gives us the answer to the question raised by John 13:3 concerning "all things."

The "all things" has just obviously been told to these men in the last chapters. There are a number of things contained there that were things which the Father had Christ tell them exactly as Christ had heard them from Him (John 12:49-50). Among those things was a new commandment concerning three-fold communion. By which a true servant is revealed (John 13:16-17)

A servant was one who gave unquestioned submission and blind obedience to their master, but Christ here calls His disciples friends who submit because they are informed and obedient because of their intelligence. This is an intimacy of inner secrets. This is no longer blind obedience where the slave has to imagine what the master is doing, but the friend knows what the Lord is doing. To His Servant, Jehovah had made known His secrets; He had revealed to Him, not only the experiences awaiting Him, but the meaning and purpose of them.  See John 17:21.

Observe the progressive intimacy between the Lord and His disciples, as recorded in John's Gospel: (1) servants (John 13:13, 16); (2) friends (John 15:15); and (3) brothers (John 20:17).

DAILY TALKS WITH GOD

 DAILY TALKS WITH GOD

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” John 14:26

A great many people are making the grave mistake of expecting a consciousness of the Spirit; yet that which the Spirit creates is a consciousness of Christ. Upon this the Lord was most explicit from beginning to end; the Spirit shall not speak of Himself, or concerning Himself; so that the test of the measure of our fellowship with the Spirit is not our knowledge of the Spirit, but our knowledge of the Christ Whom the Spirit reveals all things He spoke from the Father. He came secondly to recall to the disciples the words of past commandments; thirdly to co-operate with them in their witness to Christ, and finally to guide them into all the truth.  John 16:13-14

So the daily talks with God as with Adam are resumed. In the final charges delivered to the apostles, Christ distinctly commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but "to wait for the promise of the Father." (Acts 1:4) Here is the same thought, uttered by the Lord Himself, and here also He distinctly tells them when the promise was made, "which, said He, ye heard from Me." Thus it is evident that we are approaching an explanation of this statement. Christ had promised the Spirit, and He had done that in the name of the Father, for Whom He forever spoke to men. Is there no definite account of His having made such a promise? Most assuredly there is an account, which is not only definite, but also detailed, and it is to be found in the Paschal discourses, which are chronicled by John alone. "I will pray the Father., and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth: Whom the world cannot receive. (John 14:16-17) But the Comforter even the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name." (John 14:26) "When the Comforter is come, Whom I will send unto you from the Father." (John 15:26) Thus in view of His approaching Cross, and in preparation of His disciples for the days when He in bodily form should be no more with them, He declared that in answer to His prayer, and in His Name, the Father would send them another Comforter, the Holy Spirit. Nothing is more evident in reading these discourses than the quiet majestic confidence of Christ. "I will enquire of the Father." "He will send you." "The Father will send in My name." "I will send you from the Father." That is the promise of the Father, and when the One Who made the promise to the band of disciples, ascended into heaven, the Father recognized the prevailing plea of His presence there gave Him the Spirit that He might fulfill the promise to the waiting men upon the earth.

The promise He made fulfilled and we need to make hay in the sunshine. Talk to Him for “all things” takes time and the time is short as He said.

SATAN CONTROLS AMERICAN POLITICS

SATAN CONTROLS AMERICAN POLITICS

"Did not God say...." Gen. 3:1

The Democratic Party is busy with a fake accusation about Trump colluding with the Russians to alter the outcome of the 2016 election, all of this based on fake (untrue) news. This is not a new strategy to alter the minds of people that one desires to rule over. This all began clear back at the beginning of mankind. Its source is none other than the accuser and liar that was there at the start. Its foundation was false accusations against Truth; and the usage of half-truths and the bending of truth. “Did not God say…” Gen. 3:1. The accuser attempts to alter the commands of rightness or to just ignore them completely.  Did He not say “Ye shall not eat….” And if you do obey what is known to be right Satan accuses you before God day and night. Rev. 12:10. Right becomes wrong and wrong becomes right; good becomes bad and bad becomes good is the intended outcome with lives ruined.
Satan and his followers accuse the innocent of the very wrongs that they themselves have done or are doing. God undoes the coup by bringing him and his followers to judgment. There it is discovered the wrongdoing of those that accuse the innocent of performing. Rev. 12:10. "And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night."
What the Dems accuse the innocents of performing they themselves are and have performed. The investigation needs to be turned to the Democratic activity with the Russians. Obama himself was caught on a hot mic colluding with the Russian ambassador long before the 2016 elections promising activity from his office to make America’s military strength to erode.

To let them continue to accuse innocent and qualified people of the wrongs they have performed will bring the last hope of America to return to right to a screeching halt. We know this is fueled by the hatred of Truth Himself.

OBEDIENCE BRINGS ALL THINGS TO PASS

OBEDIENCE BRINGS ALL THINGS TO PASS

“Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He was come from God, and went to God.”  John 13:3

Christ, now, in virtue of His divine nature, the Son of God, has absolute control over all nations, over the church, etc., but He only exerts that Sovereignty  as God in Providence, etc., not as the Son of Man, David's Son, in His human nature. That nature is also highly, immeasurably exalted because of its union with the Divine, the God-Man, and of its being intended for the coming visible Theocratic Government to be the Representative Ruler of God. This Ruler ship now belongs to David's Son, is His both by right of covenanted birth and obedience, but is not yet realized and will not be until the establishment of the Kingdom. For, we have no distinctive announcement of its actual participation in reigning as covenanted until the Second Advent, at which time it is plainly and specifically stated that He reigns not merely as the Son of God, but really and truly as the Son of Man.
Hence, while this dominion is even now lodged in the Son of Man, yet it is held in abeyance until the period of its manifestation in and through this Kingdom. This has already been shown by various considerations, and will appear still more conclusively as the Scriptures unfold. Therefore it is erroneous (as a multitude of writers, including Hodge, Barnes, etc), to say that this dominion was fully attained and realized by the incarnation and the exaltation of the Son of God. It certainly belongs to Him; but we must leave the Scriptures to decide respecting its actual realization. From the Covenant thus far provisionally fulfilled, the most glorious portion remaining in a state of abeyance, that it is a wrong inference to suppose an existing realization when the same is related with the restored Theocratic Kingdom. So long as the Davidic tabernacle is in ruins, this dominion cannot and will not be exerted. The dominion is given to Him as "the Son of Man" (John 5:27; Psa. 8:7; Heb. 2:6, etc.), and this at a pre-ordained time. He is constituted the absolute Lord over all because He is "the Son of Man;" but this dominion pertaining to Him as the promised seed, related both to God and man, He did not fully (only on some occasions to indicate His power), exercise while on earth; He does not now as "the Son of Man" put forth the power with which He is invested, for He has not yet been revealed as the King, the Judge, the Maker of all things new, the Repealer of the curse, we see not yet all things put under Him, and He is awaiting the time when His enemies shall be made His footstool. But the period of time is coming when this will be done, and the dominion, held in restraint for purposes of mercy and love, will be exhibited with God-like power and glory. As the Son of Man, the Second Adam, He becomes the Lord of the world, but that Lordship is not yet manifested, it remaining veiled until certain preparatory purposes are accomplished and the time arrives for its blessed appearance through the covenanted Theocratic-Davidic throne; for just as at the First Advent by the Incarnation the Christ is brought into direct relationship with humanity and from thence sustains His covenanted position in this particular, so also at the Second Advent by the Incarnation, as continued in "the Son of Man," "the Christ," in the inherited throne and Kingdom, is brought into direct Theocratic relationship with humanity, and from this revealed position exerts His power in behalf of that humanity with which He is identified.

For us, He Himself revealed the necessity of obedience for full participation in His Kingdom. All things can then come to pass.

ARE MIRACLES NECESSARY FOR BELIEF

ARE MIRACLES NECESSARY FOR BELIEF

“And many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spake of this man were true.” John 10:41

John the Baptist, though “filled with the Holy Ghost” and the greatest man ever born before Christ (Luke 1:15; Matt. 11:11), never performed a miracle! Thus, signs and wonders are never a necessary—or even desirable—accompaniment to the ministry of a true man of God, especially today, when we have the complete Bible.
There is no doubt that in that entire region the effect of John's ministry was still felt; and evidently there were those who remembered the identification. They were talking. The tense of the verb expresses the general conversation. John did no miracles, but John was right. Everything he told us about this Man has come true. The last sentence is, "Many believed on Him there." Put the emphasis on "there." If Jerusalem had rejected Him, many believed on Him there.

ACCEPTING THE FATHER’S ANSWER

ACCEPTING THE FATHER’S ANSWER

“The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.” John 4:25

And then she said; "I know that Messiah cometh when He is come, He will declare unto us all things," and He replied in the final claim, "I that speak unto thee am He." See Deut 18:15, 18.

The story reveals a woman with a remarkable religious background. She spoke of "Our father, Jacob." Most probably she had not referred to that relationship for years, but it recurred in the presence of Jesus. Then at once she revealed the fact of the hope of her people in which she had been trained; the coming of Messiah. As our Lord dealt with her, we observe first her almost flippant address; then there came respect, and a recognition of a Man of God, a prophet. Then suddenly we find her not affirming, but out of a sincere soul asking, "Can this be the Christ?"

All things begin a process that first asks for admission of personal guilt and need of the promised answer to Israel and then the whole world. After acceptance of the Messiah the journey concerning "all things" begin. The end results in a perfect image and likeness of the Messiah Himself. "Be ye therefore perfect, even as YOUR Father which is in heaven is perfect." Matt. 5:48. But first He must be YOUR heavenly Father.

See 1 Cor. 3:21-23 where all things were gifts of words and teaching from God concerning the journey that first begins with acceptance of His threefold ministry. See 1 Cor. 15:24-28 to see where all things are headed.
