UNDER AGE OF ACCOUNTABILITY
“So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to
all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification
of life to all men.” Rom. 5:18
“And the Law came in that the transgression might increase; but where
sin increased, grace abounded all the more, that, as sin reigned in death, even
so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ
our Lord.” Rom. 5:20-21
Grace recovers for man all that was lost through sin and
much more besides. See Rom. 5:20-21.
The sacrifice of Christ goes as deep as the sin of Adam, and much more. Men
are lost on two counts, first Adamic sin and second personal sin
God has covered Adamic sin at the Cross (Vs. 18). So no man can complain that he
is lost because of what Adam did. But the Cross provided penalty for personal
sin, which men can appropriate the solution by faith. Children under the age of
accountability are saved because they have no personal sin.
